The Triplett GEM 305-18TP BNC Crimp/Crimp Connectors feature a bright nickel finish, solid brass body; utilizes captive, self-energizing gold-plated center contact. 27 AWG, .150 Nom. Jacket O.D. Designed for higher frequency applications (up to 1GHz) because the center contact is more closely matched to the center conductor of the cable. The crimped center contact provides a lower VSWR at higher frequencies (use a 75-Ohm connector above 1GHz); also used for cables with a flexible stranded center conductor. For proper installation, use GST-174 Strip Tool and GET-305-12 Crimp Tool (each sold separately).
