The Quiet Time Companion: A Journal for kids during Mom’s Devotional Time

I had just sat down with a steaming hot cup of coffee, opened my Bible and picked up my pen. I had gotten up early, to spend a few quiet moments with the Lord before my children woke up and the chaos of the day took over. Just as I was reading the first words on the page, I heard the shuffle of small steps. For many years, this was an unwannted intrusion. A undoing of the few quiet moments that I had. The time I rose kept getting earlier, until it felt like the middle of the night but there didn’t seem to be an early enough time to get up, I could give up in this season, or I could change my approach. One morning, I decided to change my approach and include my early riser in my Bible Study that day and the Quiet Time Companion was born.Designed to go alongside whatever scripture you are personally studying, it is flexible and allows you to have meaningful family conversation even after the still, quiet moments have passed.
