Ultra-Shear Extended Reach Long Joinery Bits are designed to meet the needs of woodworkers using horizontal routing systems such as Multi-Router and PantoRouter machines. Each bit features a solid carbide spiral cutting head brazed to a steel shank, combining the cutting performance and geometry advantages of carbide with the resilience of a steel body. The spiral cutting profile is ground after brazing to ensure accurate geometry and smooth cutting action. With an overall length of 3-7/8", these extended reach bits open new possibilities for joinery in 6/4, 8/4 and even thicker material. Mortise and tenon joints can now be sized correctly for the stock being used, rather than compromised by tooling limitations.
